Due to the dispansion of our members previous team, the Girls with the administrative support of the newly formed committe have chosen to continue there commitment to the sport which in turn encourages fitness, discipline ,teamwork,sportsmanship and most importantly lots and lots of fun.
Baton Twirling is a worldwide community and has given our members the opportunity to be a part of the England team competing against the Worlds best,which i am sure our corp can achieve again in the future.
We are the Cheltenham Allstars. We formed our troupe in January 2007 with 10 members and we now have approx 50 members with the youngest being 3.
We are also a non profit organisation which fundraise for our equipment.
We now have five teams: Mini Stars (Pee-wees) Rock Chicks (Juvenille) Junior Novice, Senior Noivce and Senior.
The training for the Senior team/Senior Novice and Juniors is Monday 6-9 at Pates Grammer School.
The training for the Mini Stars and Rock Chicks is Tuesday 5:30 till 9 at St. Aidens Church Coronation Sqaure.
Our trainers for all teams are Kizzy and Hayley which also twirl for the seniors. Weenie also is our trainer for Senior Mil! They all have been twirling for 19 years and have participated in many associations such as BBTSA, NBTA, SWBTA , NAME and SITA, also have compeated at the World Championships in Holland last year! Bringing home the Silver for England!
